Conversation From the Past; A Short Film on History and Personal Choices.

From the stable of uber-talented historical fiction author Tunde Leye comes the short film “Conversations From The Past.” The film is an adaptation of an excerpt from Leye’s upcoming book Fireflies On The Lagoon, based on the 1851 British Bombardment of Lagos and scheduled for release later in 2024.

The film narrates a provocative conversation in one sitting between two prominent women in Nigeria’s History, Efunroye Tinubu and Sara Forbes Bonetta, played by Fadekemi Olumide Aluko and Kuchi Chris.

Written by Tunde Leye, Directed by Adesola Oni, Produced by Damilola Aleje. The short film “Conversations From The Past”  is set to premiere on the 7th of April 2024 at the Alliance Francaise, Ikoyi.
